Cytoview was established early in 2002 as a start-up with a view to developing software tools for assisting life science research via molecular imagery analysis. The company operates under a grant from the office of the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Israel and is otherwise self-funded.

Gideon Shalom-Bendor - CEO

With more than 20 years experience in research and development and project management, he has managed R&D, quality assurance and localization projects at leading software and computer firms in Israel and the US. In the US he worked for Apple Computer Inc., where he was part of the Software Development group for international system software for the Macintosh.
He holds BA degrees in computer science and economics from Bar Ilan University and an MBA from San Jose State University.

Yifat Edrei - VP Research and Development

Holding degrees in computer science and chemistry from Bar Ilan University, she has worked as a project leader, developing many award-winning products. Yifat currently leads the development of MICA.

Dr. Gideon Stein - Chief Scientist

Dr. Stein is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and studied mathematics and computer science at Bar Ilan University. Dr. Stein has been involved in the design and development of cutting -edge technologies for eCommerce, invented and designed core technologies and platforms for business impact analysis, and was the inventor and developer of the core technology and platform for the MICA system. He has also published a number of papers in the fields of Cancer Research and Molecular Imaging.
